Narmadapuram district court of Madhya Pradesh has awarded a massive judgment. 7 men are going to get life imprisonment. Judge Tabassum Khan gave this decision this week. In this judgment, after long years, a decision has been given in the case of lynching and slaughtering in 2022 by taking up the lathis and stones due to bringing cows, which has put seven people behind the bars of imprisonment for the rest of their lives.
It is very chilling to know how the beating started.
This verdict is considered extremely significant because till date no such incident has come in the record of judges till date in which such a judgment for mob lynching has been pronounced. The judgment of the case depends a lot on Forensic reports.
How it happened in the intervening night of that Highway… Najir Ahmed, Sheikh Lala and Sheikh Mustaq were in a vehicle along with some cows and buffaloes when some cow vigilantes stopped their vehicle from the roadside. After stopping the vehicle, the mob beat the three till their bones turned to ashes while beating up Sheikh Lala and Sheikh Mushtaq until their entire bodies were shattered by the impact of blows and kicks. At the same time, when the blows started raining on Najir Ahmed, the blows were repeatedly raining on his skull along with the body and head.
Due to excessive blows, the skull of the first victim broke down and he started foaming and his body went into an unconscious state and during the immediate operation and treatment, the person was brought into the realm of the hereafter (death).
After this immediately after this, the local police was informed about the matter after which the police immediately swung into action. The police immediately took strict action and while arresting 7 accused in immediate action, strict action has been taken in this matter. It is proved from the reports of the investigation conducted in immediate action against those accused in the district court that these 7 accused killed and lynched Najir. And in this attack, Lathis were also recovered by Forensic Science Lab from the arrested, blood of the deceased was found in these lathis and this proved that the murder of Najir was committed by those lathis by mob lynching.
This also proved by forensic reports on whose body where and with which weapon such attack has taken place on the incident by 7 such persons.
Defence made an excuse that Najir Ahmed was injured due to Choking… Court gave life imprisonment including seven people After the postmortem of the first victim, it was written in the postmortem report by the doctor that he died from choking immediately after this incident and after this in the court, the lawyer of the accused jumped on this word and said that the accused had only thrashed, and due to choking on being victimized from his own spit, his dead body had become a part of the hereafter in the hospital. He only choked because of the terrible injuries he sustained on his skull by heavy blows. Judge Tabassum Khan dismissed the lawyers’ plea against her, saying she killed Najir Ahmed, and added it was a ‘mobile killing’.
According to the laws, to impose a death sentence, a certain level of crime should be such that death is the most appropriate punishment.
In all this, the sentence of 7 people to life imprisonment is appropriate as, all the said persons are going to be imprisoned in the state’s largest Jail of MadyaPradesh .
The Court says what it is! In fact, many people believed that despite everything, seven accused will get death punishment in the killing case of NazirAhmed in this cow lynching. When NajirAhmed’s deceased body was discovered and it was reported to the local Police Department, an operation was immediately started by taking stern action to punish the perpetrators.
Seven alleged attackers of NajirAhmed were also taken into custody within some days of this ghastly attack, in this regard, the said killing was said to be associated with Cow vigilantism.
Let it be noted that a huge uproar was caused by the killing of NajirAhamed and since then his family members were asking that they be given harsh justice in this case. After the court’s verdict on Seven Murder, Justice for the victims has now happened, so the case took a new turn after the long legal battle.
