After Indian players refused to shake hands with Pakistani players in the Asia Cup cricket tournament matches in Dubai, treating them as untouchable pariahs, and after having defeated Pakistan in the finals, the Indian cricket team captain, Suryakumar Yadav refused to accept the Winners Cup as it was sought to be presented by a Pakistani ( the Pakistan Cricket Board chief Mohsin Naqvi )
Obviously all this comedy, slapstick, farce and burlesque was because some people in high places in India think it will get votes in the coming Bihar elections in November 2025 and other state elections thereafter in 2026
