Gravitiq, a United Kingdom-based e-commerce company operating across consumer sectors such as health, wellness, beauty and supplements, is inviting applications for the position of Acquisitions & Integration Associate. The role is remote and open to candidates based in India.
The position is part of the company’s mergers and acquisitions (M&A) team. The selected candidate will be responsible for integrating newly acquired brands into Gravitiq’s operations and supporting the wider acquisition process. Candidates with experience in M&A, transaction services, private equity, venture capital, consulting or e-commerce aggregation may be suitable for the role.
About the Acquisitions & Integration Associate Role
The Acquisitions & Integration Associate will oversee the migration and integration of brands acquired by Gravitiq. The work will involve coordinating different business functions to ensure that newly acquired brands are transferred smoothly into the company’s systems and operations.
The position also provides exposure to the broader M&A process, including identifying potential acquisition opportunities, screening businesses, conducting due diligence and supporting the development of the company’s deal pipeline.
Roles and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will plan and manage the migration of acquired brands, including marketplace and Shopify accounts, product listings, inventory, suppliers, supply chains, third-party logistics, financial systems, data and intellectual property.
The role will involve acting as the primary point of contact between sellers and internal teams working across operations, supply chain, marketing, finance, data and legal functions. The candidate will also develop integration checklists, maintain progress records and identify potential risks during the transition process.
Following migration, the Associate will support each acquired brand for at least three months. This will include monitoring sales, inventory and advertising performance, resolving operational issues and ensuring a smooth handover to the teams responsible for regular business operations.
In addition, the candidate will help identify acquisition opportunities through brokers, direct outreach and online marketplaces. Other responsibilities include supporting financial analysis, commercial and operational due diligence, and maintaining the company’s deal pipeline.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should have approximately 2 to 5 years of experience in M&A, transaction services, private equity, venture capital, consulting or an e-commerce aggregator. The employer has specifically indicated that two years of M&A experience is preferred.
Candidates should have a practical understanding of Amazon Seller Central or Shopify. Experience handling account transfers will be an advantage. Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams are also important for the position.
Applicants should possess commercial and financial knowledge, including an understanding of profit and loss statements, basic financial modelling and due diligence. Attention to detail, organisational skills, independent working ability and comfort with changing business requirements are also expected.
Employment Terms and Benefits
The position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, with a remote working arrangement for candidates based in India. The engagement will be through an independent contractor agreement.
The working schedule is Monday to Friday, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM UK time. Candidates should be comfortable working according to this schedule. The company also mentions the use of a time tracker during the probation period.
The listed benefits include performance-based bonuses, paid annual leave, UK banking holidays and annual salary reviews. The employer has not specified the salary or remuneration range in the vacancy announcement.
Application Process
Interested candidates can submit their updated CV through the application option provided in the job listing. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by the recruitment team.
The application includes a question about the candidate’s experience with Amazon Seller Central and/or Shopify. Applicants should clearly describe their relevant platform experience, M&A background and experience managing integrations or business transactions in their CV.
