About the position
A candidate with at least 2 years of post qualification experience (PQE) in a litigation office would be preferred.
Experience working in an Advocate-on-Record(AoR) Chambers would be a pre-cursor.
About the Chambers Rupali Samuel is an Advocate-On Record (AoR) to the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India & also the Standing Counsel for the State of Tamil Nadu. In this role, the candidate shall get an opportunity to work on various Supreme Court matters & be involved at different stages of litigation, starting from the drafting of the fresh Special Leave Petitions (SLPs) to the filing stage, preparing briefs and working on arguments and appearances before the Supreme Court. About the Area of Practice The Chamber practices across Civil Law, Commercial Law, Taxation Law, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law and Environmental Law. A candidate having exposure in these areas shall be a valuable addition to the Chamber; particularly those wishing to build their litigation practice across many laws instead of focusing on specific areas of specialization.
Who Can Apply
A candidate with minimum two years of post qualification experience in a litigation office is eligible.
Prior experience working with an AoR Chambers is desirable. A candidate keen on building a long-term practice in the Supreme Court and who is proficient in research, drafting, pre-arguments preparation, and litigation would be preferred.
Salary
Salary will be as per the industry and as per your experience and qualifications.
