Summer Law Fellowship – New York County District Attorney’s Office (USA)

If you are a law student interested in criminal litigation and public prosecution, this fellowship is worth exploring.

The Summer Law Fellowship is a 9-week paid program where selected fellows work closely with Assistant District Attorneys. Fellows get practical experience by assisting in:

  • Trial and appellate litigation
  • Legal research and drafting
  • Grand jury and trial preparation
  • Long-term criminal investigations

Participants may also get the opportunity to second-seat an Assistant District Attorney during a trial. The program includes lectures, field visits, mock litigation exercises, and networking sessions.

Stipend: USD 900 per week

Who can apply?

  • Full-time second-year law students
  • Part-time third-year law students
