Submissions are invited for the International Conference on Interconnection Between Indian Knowledge Systems and Law, Political Theory & Economics, jointly organized by the Conference Committee, School of Law and the Office of International Affairs, CHRIST University, Pune Lavasa. The conference will be held in hybrid mode on September 24–25, 2026, and the last date for submission of full papers is September 3, 2026.
About the Conference
The conference seeks to create a platform for critical engagement with Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) and their relevance to law, political theory, and economics. It aims to bridge the gap between indigenous intellectual traditions and contemporary legal and governance frameworks by encouraging interdisciplinary research and dialogue.
Aligned with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the conference promotes research-based engagement and the revival of indigenous knowledge systems in higher education.

Submission Guidelines
All submissions must comply with the following requirements:
- Submission Mode: Google Form (.doc format only)
- Language: English
- Word Limit: 3,000–6,000 words (inclusive of references and footnotes)
- Abstract: Maximum 300 words
- Keywords: Maximum 5
- Citation Style: APA 7th Edition
- Font: Times New Roman (12 pt text, 14 pt headings)
- Co-authorship: Permitted for up to two authors
- Similarity Index: Below 10% (including AI-generated similarity)
- Papers must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
- The submission must be free from unacknowledged AI-generated content.
Selection Process
- Papers will undergo an initial screening by the Organising Committee.
- Eligible submissions will be peer-reviewed.
- Selection will be based on originality, thematic relevance, conceptual clarity, methodological rigour, and contribution to scholarship.
- Certificates will be awarded to all paper presenters.
- Selected papers may be published in the CHRIST University Law Journal (CULJ), a conference proceedings volume, or an edited book with an ISBN. No separate publication fee will be charged.
