Candidates should possess an LL.B. degree from a recognised university.

Roles and Responsibilities
The selected Legal Associate will be responsible for conducting property-related legal due diligence and preparing reports concerning immovable properties.
The candidate will examine ownership records and verify the title history of properties, including the complete chain of relevant documents.
The work will include preparing Due Diligence Reports, Title Search Reports and Title Investigation Reports for banks and NBFCs.
The selected professional will review sale deeds, lease deeds, gift deeds, partition deeds, pattas, allotment documents and other property-related legal records.
The candidate will also verify revenue records, mutation records, registration documents and other government records relating to property ownership.
Another important responsibility will be identifying encumbrances, defects in title, discrepancies in property documents and possible legal risks associated with property transactions.
The role also involves examining mortgage documents and other security-related records used in banking and lending transactions.
The selected candidate will prepare legal opinions and reports concerning ownership, title verification and property due diligence.
The professional may also coordinate with banks, NBFCs, clients, government authorities and other stakeholders while handling property-related assignments.
Additional legal research, documentation and title verification work may be assigned depending on the requirements of the firm.
Skills Required
Candidates should have a sound understanding of Indian property laws, registration requirements and land revenue records.
Applicants must possess strong legal drafting and document examination skills.
The ability to identify inconsistencies in property records and independently analyse complex ownership documents will be important.
Experience in banking and finance-related legal documentation will be an advantage.
