Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has announced a walk-in recruitment opportunity for Guest Faculty in Law, Social Sciences, Humanities, Criminology and allied disciplines. The recruitment includes three positions in Law or Social Sciences/Humanities and two positions in Criminology and allied disciplines.
The Guest Faculty positions offer remuneration of ₹1,500 per lecture, up to ₹50,000 per month, as per applicable UGC norms. Eligible candidates can attend the walk-in registration at the Karampura Campus on October 6, 2026.
Guest Faculty Vacancies at AUD
AUD is inviting applications for three Guest Faculty positions in Law or Social Sciences/Humanities. The vacancies are distributed as one OBC, one UR and one EWS position.
In addition, two Guest Faculty positions are available in Criminology and allied disciplines, comprising one OBC and one UR position. Candidates should ensure that their academic qualifications correspond to the concerned, relevant or allied subject.
Eligibility for Law Faculty
Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in the concerned, relevant or allied subject with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
Applicants should also have qualified UGC/CSIR-NET or SLET/SET, or possess a Ph.D. that qualifies for exemption under the applicable UGC regulations. A Ph.D. awarded by a foreign university ranked among the world’s top 500 by QS, Times Higher Education or ARWU is also accepted.
Higher education teaching experience is desirable for the Guest Faculty positions.
₹50,000 Monthly Remuneration
The selected Guest Faculty members will receive ₹1,500 per lecture, with remuneration capped at ₹50,000 per month, in accordance with applicable UGC norms.
Superannuated teachers may also be considered for the positions, subject to the applicable conditions, with the age limit for such candidates extending up to 70 years.
Walk-in Interview on October 6
The walk-in registration will be conducted on October 6, 2026, at the Karampura Campus of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi.
Candidates are required to register in person at the venue between 10:00 AM and 12:00 noon. Applicants should carry their updated biodata, a recent passport-size photograph, original supporting certificates and marksheets, along with an attested photocopy of each document.
