Legal Executive Job at Teal India
The Legal Executive will primarily work on preparing Legal Scrutiny Reports and providing legal opinions to support clients with their property due diligence requirements.
The role involves conducting title due diligence and verification for properties in Gujarat and providing legal opinions based on the findings. The selected candidate will also be responsible for drafting and vetting contracts and other legal documents.
Roles and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will manage cases assigned to them and ensure timely reporting of escalations. The role also involves coordinating with external counsels, clients and vendors whenever required.
The Legal Executive will conduct research on land laws across different states and coordinate with vendors to obtain relevant documents and reports. The position will also involve handling property registration work and other legal tasks assigned from time to time.
Eligibility and Skills
Candidates should have a basic understanding of real estate laws, while sound knowledge of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA) will be an added advantage.
Prior experience in real estate law and knowledge of basic property documentation will be beneficial. A background in litigation is preferred but is not mandatory.
Candidates should be comfortable handling confidential documents and should have strong attention to detail. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, along with good communication skills, is required.
Proficiency in Gujarati is essential, and the ability to read Gujarati is mandatory for the position.
