The firm is looking for candidates with 3 to 5 years of post qualification experience who have relevant experience in complex dispute resolution matters and can independently handle legal assignments.
MTA Legal’s disputes practice covers a wide range of domestic and international matters. The firm works on domestic and international arbitration, commercial litigation, construction disputes, investigations and arbitration-related litigation. The practice also involves complex, high-value and cross-border disputes, providing associates with an opportunity to work on sophisticated matters.
Position and Experience
The position is intended for lawyers with 3 to 5 years’ PQE. Candidates applying for the role should have relevant experience in disputes and a strong understanding of litigation or arbitration practice.
The role is suited to lawyers who are looking to work in a specialised disputes practice and gain exposure to matters involving substantial commercial and legal issues. Experience in arbitration, commercial litigation, construction disputes or related areas will be particularly relevant for the position.
Skills Required
MTA Legal is seeking candidates with strong legal drafting skills and the ability to work independently. Applicants should be comfortable handling legal work with limited supervision and should be capable of taking responsibility for assigned matters.
Given the nature of the firm’s practice, candidates with experience in preparing pleadings, applications, submissions, legal research and other dispute resolution documents may find the position particularly suitable.
