Roles and Responsibilities
Contract Management
The intern will assist in drafting, reviewing and managing commercial agreements, including vendor agreements, service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, licensing agreements and manufacturing contracts.
The work also includes identifying contractual risks, maintaining records and tracking contractual obligations.
Legal Research and Advisory
The intern will support legal research and help examine laws, regulations and contractual provisions relevant to business decisions.
Compliance and Regulatory Matters
Responsibilities include supporting compliance activities, reviewing applicable regulatory requirements and coordinating with external legal counsel when necessary.
Litigation and Dispute Resolution
The intern may assist with litigation, arbitration, consumer complaints, regulatory proceedings and preparation of responses to legal notices.
Intellectual Property Rights
The position includes supporting trademark and copyright protection, documentation, renewals and coordination with intellectual property lawyers.
Corporate Secretarial Work
