My response to Ambassador Kwatra’s article

Following the Pahalgam attack on 22.4 2025 and the consequential Operation Sindoor on 7.5 2025, the Indian Government suspended the Indus Water Treaty, 1960, ( IWT ) signed by both India and Pakistan

In response, the Indian Ambassador to America, Mohan Kwatra, justified the suspension of the IWT, in an article written in a US magazine, citing the alleged Pakistani support of terrorism against India, such as the Pahalgam attack, for which the Indian government and the Indian media blamed Pakistan :

I wrote an article about the Pahalgam attack, in which I said that it was wrong to blame Pakistan for the Pahalgam attack without a proper investigation

But apart from that, I wish to say this :

I regard Partition of India in 1947 as a British swindle on the basis of the bogus 2 nation theory ( that Hindus and Muslims are 2 separate nations who cannot live peacefully together ), whose real purpose was to keep Hindus and Muslims fighting each other, so that India ( of which I regard Pakistan and Bangladesh a part ) remains weak and backward, and does not emerge as a modern industrial giant, like China, for which it has all the potential, with it huge pool of engineers and scientists, and immense natural resources.

I regard India and Pakistan ( and Bangladesh ) as really one country only temporarily divided by a British fraud. So I regard all Pakistanis and Bangladeshis as Indians, and I believe that we are bound to reunite one day under a secular government.

 Should we increase the water shortage in Pakistan by depriving Pakistanis of even the little water they are getting ? Do we intend to turn Pakistan into a Karbala ?
