Key Responsibilities & Skills
The candidate should be willing to work on competition law and data privacy matters. Prior experience in data privacy would be helpful but is not compulsory.
Candidates should have strong communication and drafting skills, particularly in matters concerning competition law, and should have a genuine interest in competition law and data privacy.
Experience handling a broad range of competition law matters, including cartels, abuse of dominance, mergers and competition law advisory, will be relevant.
The role also requires the ability to work effectively within a close-knit team, manage deadlines and maintain quality of work. Candidates should be comfortable with the firm’s requirements relating to travel, timelines and client work.
ELP is also looking for candidates who are self-driven, can independently handle responsibilities with minimum supervision and are willing to contribute to publications and other team or firm initiatives.
Behavioural Competencies
The firm is looking for candidates who demonstrate learning agility, client centricity, teamwork and collaboration, process orientation and personal effectiveness.
Strong drafting and presentation skills are also required.
