Associates Mandla & Singh Law Chambers invites applications from law graduates and Advocates for the role of an ‘Associate’. This could be a great opportunity for young lawyers aspiring to build a career of choice in Litigation on a long term basis. We are looking for candidates with 1 to 3 years of post qualification experience who are willing to take responsibility of their work and will be a responsible part of developing and conducting their legal matters.

About the Opportunity

Working on matters in Supreme Court, various High Courts, Tribunals and other judicial forums will be an exciting aspect of the Chambers work.

It offers young lawyers an unparalleled insight into all facets of litigation, beginning from research, drafting, to arguments and case management on various matters, that will assist the Associate in developing valuable experience and skills. Legal research, litigation strategy development, drafting and preparation of pleadings, client conferences, case management and coordination as also court attendances will all fall within the purview of work under this engagement. Associates Responsibilities and Exposure The Chambers believes in empowering Associates with meaningful responsibility from the out-set and look for Associates who will be willing to assume responsibility, and participate meaningfully in the preparation and presentation of cases on behalf of clients of the Chamber as compared to performing only routine or ancillary tasks. This can also involve working extensively on client interaction, research and drafting for important decisions of the Supreme Court, and on all other relevant steps taken by a lawyer or chamber during their proceedings and arguments in court or during trial stage.

Who Can Apply

Applicants with 1 to 3 years of post qualification experience in a law firm or practicing independently are requested to apply.

Candidates

that seriously want to develop an expertise in Litigation and are looking to make it a career can be ideally suited for this role. Excellent legal drafting skills, research capabilities and client management potential together with diligence, reliability and comfort with taking full ownership of assigned responsibilities is paramount. Prior Experience

Previous experience in Supreme Court litigation and drafting would be an advantage but would not be a deciding factor as long as you possess and develop a keen professional demeanor, the aptitude and willingness to excel in court, and a robust approach towards delivering quality work.
