The University of Vienna is organising a conference titled “Conflict of Laws in International Arbitration” on 30 November and 1 December 2026 in Vienna, Austria. The conference will bring together academics and legal practitioners from different jurisdictions to discuss emerging and complex questions concerning conflict of laws in international arbitration.
Conference Themes
The conference will feature four thematic sessions examining the law applicable to different aspects of international arbitration. The discussions will cover arbitrability and the arbitration agreement, including questions concerning the applicable law and validity of arbitration agreements.
