Hindu Succession Act Inapplicable to Scheduled Tribes, Says Justice Sanjay Karol
The Supreme Court of India has given a reiterant reassertive legal demarcation of laws of inheritance in a major verdict. The Hindu succession act, 1956 (HSA) was recently upheld by a bench consisting of Justice Sanjay Karol who stated that the act was not applicable to the members of the Scheduled Tribes.
