The Calcutta High Court Justice, Om Narayan Rai, has made an important judgment that gives a lot of relief to the taxpayers in terms of meeting the compliance requirement under the regime of Goods and Services Tax (GST). The decision of the court was that a taxpayer cannot be anticipated to go through each and every tab on the complicated official GST portal to check whether he or she is fully complying.
