Remfry & Sagar, one of India’s leading intellectual property law firms, is inviting applications for a Litigation Associate to join its Dispute Resolution team in Gurugram.
The firm is looking for a motivated lawyer with experience in intellectual property litigation, brand protection and anti-counterfeiting matters. The position offers an opportunity to work on complex disputes and take on significant responsibility from the beginning of the role.
Position and Practice Area
The opening is for a Litigation Associate in the IP Litigation practice. The selected candidate will join the firm’s Dispute Resolution team and work on matters involving intellectual property disputes, brand protection and anti-counterfeiting.
The firm is seeking candidates who have a strong background in IP along with practical experience in brand protection and anti-counterfeiting work.
Eligibility and Experience
Candidates applying for the position should hold an LLB or LLM degree and have 3 to 5 years of work experience in litigation and brand protection or anti-counterfeiting matters.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently and managing demanding assignments within tight deadlines. Strong legal research, analytical and writing skills are also expected.
Experience in preparing legal briefs and pleadings will be important for the role. Candidates should also be able to examine complex legal issues and produce accurate, well-structured work.
Courtroom and Litigation Skills
The position requires candidates to have confident courtroom skills. Applicants should be comfortable with oral advocacy, structured argumentation and procedural strategy.
The role is suited to lawyers who enjoy litigation and are interested in handling detailed legal issues in IP disputes. Candidates are expected to demonstrate precision and independence while working on matters that may involve significant commercial and legal stakes.
Work Location
The position is based in Gurugram and is an on-site role.
Candidates should therefore be prepared to work from the firm’s Gurugram office.
