Submissions are invited for the International Congress on Digital Violence (ICDV 2026). The Congress will be held on October 13–14, 2026, in a hybrid format at the Faculty of Law, University of Valencia, Spain, with an option for virtual participation. The last date for submission is September 20, 2026 (11:59 p.m. CET).
About the Congress
The International Congress on Digital Violence (ICDV 2026) seeks to address one of the most pressing challenges of the digital age—digital violence. The Congress aims to bring together legal scholars, computer scientists, criminologists, psychologists, social workers, policy experts, and researchers to examine the legal, technological, and social dimensions of digital harms.
Hosted by the Faculty of Law, University of Valencia, the Congress provides an interdisciplinary platform to discuss issues such as cyberbullying, hate speech, gender-based cyber violence, online harassment, disinformation, algorithmic harms, and digital justice.
Eligibility
The Congress welcomes submissions from:

Interdisciplinary submissions are particularly encouraged.

The Congress invites papers on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:
- Digital violence: legal frameworks, jurisdiction, and policy approaches
- Technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV)
- Emerging technologies, surveillance, and coercive control
- Digital equity, human security, and survivor support systems
- Algorithmic bias, platform governance, and content moderation
- Intimate partner control, image-based abuse, and online misogyny communities
- Hate speech, disinformation, and political polarisation
- Youth, vulnerability, cyberbullying, AI, and digital violence
- Online abuse, victimisation, and exploitation among young people

- Submission Format: Single PDF attachment
