The Asian Centre for International Arbitration and Mediation (ACIAM) has invited applications for its Eight Week Virtual Internship Programme.
The internship is designed for law students, LL.M. candidates and recent law graduates who are interested in arbitration, mediation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
The programme will provide interns with practical exposure to institutional ADR while giving them an opportunity to contribute to legal research, publications and other initiatives aimed at supporting the development of ACIAM.
About the Internship
The ACIAM Virtual Internship Programme will run for eight weeks and will be conducted completely online.
During the internship, participants will get an opportunity to gain practical exposure to institutional arbitration and mediation. Interns will also contribute to legal research and publications and may work on initiatives connected with the development of alternative dispute resolution.
The programme can be particularly useful for students and recent graduates who are looking to build their academic or professional profile in arbitration and ADR.

Eligibility
Applications are invited from students enrolled in either a three year or five year law programme.
LL.M. students are also eligible to apply.
Recent law graduates with an interest in arbitration, mediation and ADR can also apply.
Application Requirements
Applicants are required to submit a current Curriculum Vitae (CV) along with a Statement of Interest of not more than 500 words.
Applicants must also submit a writing sample of not more than 1,500 words demonstrating their legal research and analytical writing skills.
The writing sample may be a research paper, case note, memorial, article or any other original legal writing authored by the applicant.
