I spoke a short while back on whatsapp with Shivani Kulshreshta, the lady lawyer of Allahabad High Court whom I jestingly and in lighter vein advised to wink at the judge, when she asked me for some tips how to argue in Court.

I told her that when I posted about the incident on my fb page, members of the Supreme Court Women Lawyers Association seem to have become infuriated.
They held a meeting, passed a resolution condemning me as being sexist, misogynist, regressive and what not, and demanded an apology from me, which I promptly gave.

Shivani said I should not have apologized, since it was obvious that I made the remark in lighter vein, as a joke.
It seems that Shivani has a more developed sense of humour than members of the SCWLA.
I have invited the office bearers of SCWLA to have tea with me in my flat. The Gen Secy, Prerana Singh, said she will bring jalebis for me.
