Roles and Responsibilities
Commercial Contracts
The selected interns will assist in reviewing and revising commercial agreements entered into by the company.
These include non-disclosure agreements, procurement and service agreements, customer contracts and other contractual terms and conditions.
Interns will also help prepare standard contractual clauses, maintain contract templates and conduct research on legal issues arising during commercial negotiations.
Legal Research
Another part of the internship involves researching Indian laws relevant to the company’s operations.
The work may cover the Information Technology Act, contract law, company law, data privacy regulations, labour codes and other applicable laws.
Interns will be required to prepare legal research notes, internal briefs and summaries explaining statutory requirements and possible legal risks.
Corporate Governance and Compliance
The selected candidates will also assist with corporate governance and compliance-related documentation.
Their responsibilities will include helping maintain statutory filing records, updating litigation trackers and organising documents handled by the Legal & Compliance team.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be studying in the fourth or fifth year of a five-year integrated LL.B. programme.
Applicants should have good knowledge of Contract Law and Company Law.
Previous internship experience with established law firms is mandatory. Students who have worked with corporate or transactional teams during earlier internships may have an advantage.
Applicants should possess good legal research, writing and drafting skills. They should also understand contractual structures, legal terminology and the interpretation of statutes and judicial decisions.
Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel is required.
