According to a decision made by the Supreme Court, civil disputes cannot be resolved by using criminal law. The First Information Report (FIR) No. 21 of 2019 against G.V. Adhimoolam and others was suppressed on the grounds that the complaint was filed out of revenge and did not have any criminal purpose.
